it was collected from Abies in a pristine forest and conferred by some French cortinariologists … but don’t ask me about distinguishing features I don’t know… for me it just looks like any other brown Dermocybe species
Never heard of, so I had to look it up and found Cortinarius lignicolus Bidaud, described from France, growing on base of trunks of Abies alba. Is it the same?
