Observation 196256: Hygrocybe acutoconica (Clem.) Singer

No herbarium specimen

Notes:
Growing in california bay litter. Haven’t seen much else growing under bays but these were fairly common in the area.

Slimy. Tried getting them to stain but maybe I didn’t wait long enough…

I thought the base of the stipe may have been dark but it’s just dirt?
