I don’t remember seeing any latex when this was found. I am going thru old photos to ease cabin fever, and I found some Lactarius species that I never posted. As I was leafing thru Bess, Bess and Harris, I saw a photo of a species that looked like this. Bad choice on my part. I believe that you are correct in your choice of genus. Thanks.
