Observation 196746: Agaricus xanthodermus Genev.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing in my back garden. These come up every year in abundance, largely growing off a compost heap, but the mycelium spreads across the whole back of the garden. Mostly sheltered in an orchard of apple and pear trees.
Slicing these longitudinally shows the yellow staining typical to this species.
