Two separate pics here, a few hundred yards apart, but I am certain these are the same species.

Any reason that you downvoted my ID here? I am pretty certain that this is a Panaeolus. Granted, there are one or two Psathyrella species that may be contenders, but I was quite confident that this was in the Panaeolus genus and most likely either semiovatus or papilionaceus.
To be fair, the pics are not great here, but I have posted another observation a few days apart of some others growing in the same location and I am still sure of my ID.
