it’s interesting to find out that there is an oak associated “equestre”. The specimen in obs 123100 appears to have a white stem. Does the one in this obs? This one looks yellow but I can’t tell for sure as so little of it is showing. The T. equestre I’ve seen with pine have a yellow stem, crowded yellow gills, a yellow cap with scattered reddish fibrils over the center—like the specimen here. One reference I read said it could occur in areas where conifers were recently logged.
