as well as the other ob. confirmed/IDed by Dr. Lodge herself:

save for the slenderness of this material, though that hardly seems like a sufficiently significant difference to go with another name. the paler colors are “beginning” toward the base. perhaps with progressing hygrophanity (?) they’ll spread, not unlike H. laeta/H. psttiacina.

I tried corroborating with this article, which has no description. It then references this, which I cannot access.

More than happy to take your exceedingly Hygrophoraceae-savvy word for it all the same.
