Observation 197318: Polyporales sensu lato
When: 2015-01-26
(43.1608° -79.2303° )
Who: SaraJE
No herbarium specimen

Notes: This fungus was found on a log that was located on the ground that is a bit of a hill near a creek. Close to a gravel /mud path surrounded by mixed trees-brush open wooded area.

The fungus caught my eye as it seemed unusual from the fungi I usually see. My 12 year old son has never seen one like this as well.
