Notes: Growing on large pine in boggy lowland pine forest. Along Little Swatara Creek.

Recognized by sight: A little far North for its currently understood range, G.meredithae is a member of the Ganoderma curtisii complex. Occuring on Pine primarily in the South.Ganoderma lucidum is not known to occur in North America and is actually primarily restricted to hardwoods in temperate Europe.
