Observation 197644: Agaricomycetes Doweld

This cluster on forest floor, was found in close proximity to Obs 197643. I have separated the two finds, although I feel that the earlier fungi (197643) could be an immature example of this fungi in this obs. Again this fungi when bisected showed similar signs of dis-colouration towards the cap end as noted in 197643. This cluster is a new find to me and is also much larger than previous finds and well established above the forest floor ground level. Only one cluster was found in the vicinity. The fungi was firm to handle although reasonably well rooted was easily removed from the habitat.

Cap not well-formed nor complete … yet. Still have to do with primordium.
