Why does this cap bruising count as minimal?

It looks substantial.

I’d suggest Amanitacruetilemurum” as a possibility.

I’ve been asked about the relation of the name to the lemurs of Madagascar. Very close. The lemurs were called “ghosts of the forest” And the name is based on the the plural of “lemurum”—“lemures”, apparently the “es” was left off for some reason from the genus name for those animals (Lemur).
