Notes: on dead moss; north-facing slope just north of rocky summit, geology a mixture of siliceous metamorphic rocks; about 20 m northwest of main peak

thallus lacking, apothecia initially urceolate soon sessile and flat to slightly convex, disk pale greenish-yellowish to brownish KC+y strong, rims white pruinose at first soon pale greenish to yellowish eventually thin and smooth K- KC+/-y, epihymenium rich red-brown granular POL+ clearing both granules and color completely in K, hymenium ~50um, paraphyses branched, cortex to ~50um below gelatinized and expanding in K of branching radiating hyphae filled with gray POL+ K- granules to lesser or greater extent, algae thin layer often patchy, spores 8 per ascus ~10-15×4-5um
