The black marginate lamellae are very cool. The same black cells got left at the apex of the stem. That is pretty rare. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen this species before. The specimen appears to have been aging, and there is white mold growing among the broken gills near the top of the stem…or so it looks to me.

This is a cool one.
