Tan to light brown dry scaly caps 58 mm diameter x 25 mm high. Pores white becoming greyish white, bruising pinkish, round to angular; about 2 per mm. Tubes 12mm long, sunken at stipe. Flesh white in context and stipe, brownish by worm holes. Stipe 8 cm long, solid, brittle, tapering to apex and lower portion bruises blue-green when cut, Black scabers except for approximately 1 cm at apex. KOH on pilipellis dark brownish to reddish brown. Didn’t seem to obtain any other reactions with FeSO4 or NH4OH.
