In New Mexico proper spellin is considered showin off. Applying incorrect authorities to taxa ain’t appreciated neither. MO seems to prefer Cooke. Sunhede (Geastraceae) and index fungorum cite Vittadini as the correct author. I know I’m quibbling.

Did you see Suse’s lageniforme today. Now that’s an earthstar.
