Dr. Jean Lodge reminded that Mycena kermesina (Sect. Kermesinae Singer, 1986) has orange- yellowish (aurantio-flavidis) lamellae with a red edge. According to Dr. Lodge the large red caulocystidia on the stipe and arcuate-decurrent lamellae suggest it is yet another unnamed species in the Mycena ixoxantha-M. kermensina complex.

Singer said there’s nothing really to confuse this with (that he knew of) in the Neotropics. Brian Perry should have a look.
