These were partially buried in sand under shrub oak, manzanita, Arizona cypress and pinyon pine. Largest cap 4.5 cm. Rusty brown spores on ring zone. White basal mycelium. KOH black on cap surface and context. Mild odor but I thought it smelled a little soap (castile) like.
