I don’t think that the description of M. cladophyllus would make a good match. The stipe of this fungus is all yellow-orange instead of pale buff at apex and purplish brown below as for example described with M. cladophyllus at Pegler, Agaric Flora of the Lesser Antilles, Page 228. I strongly think this belongs to Mycena.

Marasmius cladophyllus: Pileus 1/4 of an inch across, convex, liver-brown, slightly rugose. Stem 3 inches high, brown, smooth, fixed by a few strigose threads. Gills rather broad, ochraceous, ventricose, joined by transverse branched processes nearly as broad as themselves.
