Observation 198890: Hydnellum concrescens (Pers.) Banker

Growing on the ground in mixed woods; mostly tanoak, redwood and Doug fir.
Dark brown stems up to 3.5 X 1.0 cm.
Cap flesh thin and teeth ~ 4mm long.
Spore print weak but appearing to be light purplish brown.
Spores ~ 4-4.5 microns, roundish and tuberculate.
