Notes: Growing on an old log in mixed woods.
Caps up to 7.7 cm across and stems up to 10.0 cm long.
Spores ~ 6.9-8.3 X 5.9-6.8 microns. Q(ave) = 1.15
Scattered gill cystidia, some quite large, over 100 microns X 45 microns, mostly utriform.
P. leoninus seems logical but micro raises questions.
