what you mean by ‘L edges,’ Debbie, but my sleep deprived, 5am brain is telling me this looks like Calostoma jelly, sloughed off with no basidiomata left to tell the tale.

that’s wrong, of course… unless it isn’t.

you can see some cap-shaped forms.

perhaps it is just a semi-melted jelly fungus, genus unknown?
