Observation 200128: Laricifomes officinalis (Batsch) Kotl. & Pouzar

No herbarium specimen

Notes: This Douglas fir is pushing 250ft. and towers over all others in the canopy. When this big one falls I will notify all avenues available to clone the more than 5 large fruiting body on this single tree.

Most images are max zoomed to over 100 feet up in the tree(apologies for quality).

Elevation: approx. 4,000ft.

Temp: low 30’s.
