Fruiting from the roots of a conifer stump.

Old specimen- brown and drab. When these are freshly growing in the late spring to late summer months they can be overwhelmingly beautiful and striking with multiple purple, yellow, orange, red zonate, concentric colorations.

Elevation: approx. 3200ft.

Temp: low 30’s.
