Observation 200508: Lacrymaria lacrymabunda (Bull.) Pat.

Found by Deb Klein in the front yard of a house in Berkeley. Scoped by me.

Recognized by sight: desiccated fruit body; ambiguous ID, until dark spores were noticed.
Based on microscopic features: dark brown, warted, lemon-shaped spores, 10-11 × 7 microns.
