Notes: Among the larger, vine-dwelling Phylloporia, one of three phylogenetically distinct groups, the other two being those spp. located on leaves (as in the type of the genus, P. parasitica) and those occurring on roots. Host ID is crucial to species identification.

It strongly resembles specimens of Phylloporia chrysita that i have collected in Southern Brazil. I think this is the best name that can be give to this observation
