Observation 201096: Amanita Pers. sect. Amanita
When: 2015-03-19

Notes: Notes: Yellow cap with warts and white gills crowded. Stipe white tapering down from base to pileus. Unusual double yellow rings at top of bulbous base.
Area Eucalyptus and semi-rainforest. (fungi growing in soil.) No insect damage evident, and no particular identifying aroma. Cap not sticky. Only single specimen sighted. {I am experiencing problems loading images to this obs. I will try again in the AM my time.}
