Recognized by sight: reminded me of Phaeocalicium
56% (1)
Recognized by sight: just playing the odds, this is an extremely common species, and there’s nothing here that rules this species out — yes, it’s not a lichenized species, but just because a clump of algae comes with the stipe doesn’t mean there’s any relationship! — and the spores and asci and overall shape and color of the fruiting bodies all look right
