Cap 3 cm wide, convex, densely appressed-squamulose, appearing smooth
With small scales at very center. Rosy pink with a darker reddish-pink center
edge of cap with faint band of dark bluish tones.
Stipe 4.8 cm tall, 0.25 cm thick, evenly pale gray, smooth, cylindrical.
Gills attached, moderately spaced, pale whitish cream, becoming pink.
Spores 8-10 × 6-7 µm.
Cheilocystidia cylindric or club-shaped, often septate
Pileipellis without clamps, chains of upright cylindrical or barrel-shaped cells
