Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Spore capsules were about 1/2 to 1 cm wide.

Habitat is area of cleared hardwood and pines. Some large trees remain but downed pine and oak are all around and burned wood.

Spores – warty, spherical.

Measured 10 spores.

With Ornamentation – Average = 5.6 micron, max = 6.0 micron, min = 5.3 micron

Without Ornamentation – Average = 4.7 micron, max = 5.0 micron, min = 4.5 micron
