Observation 201883: Agaricus sylvaticus subsp. occidentalis Kerrigan

Growing on the ground in mixed woods @ ~ 3600ft.
They were mostly buried with the smaller ones essentially completely underground.
Reddening was fairly rapid on caps and gills, slightly slower on flesh.
Odor not distinctive and taste somewhat nutty.
Spore print weak.
Spores ~ 5.1-6.0 X 3.8-4.9 microns, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid.
Agaricus benesii would be close except for the apparent lack of a substantial veil on these.
