Notes: Seems like a Russula from brittleness. Cap is purple-ish.
Large: stipe 9 inches, cap 5 inches.
Early mushroom.

The margin already leaves by a mature mushroom. What are the flavor and the smell ?

Large, early spring Russula

From the texture it seems to be a Russula. But it is early Spring (March) in Georgia, and large.
