Well I was thinking, due to a quick web search, that:
(1) It doesn’t grow in my area of the world (Although I don’t have time for extensive research)
(2) The physical appearance looks different to me. Gym P doesn’t have the ‘scaly’ cap I observed on what ever species I did find.

However, I am not a mycologist and only an intermediate when it comes to the knowledge of mushrooms. Thanks for the input! Just thought it didn’t look/sound quite right.
