Notes: 3 fruit bodies along creek under willow and incense cedar. a very handsome new Cort for me. field shots inadvertently destroyed; dried specimen photos are all that I can show. Similar to Ron’s collection from SP in February of this year: http://mushroomobserver.org/198854?q=2XQcD

Recognized by sight: orange gills, distinctive, two-toned dry orange cap, largest cap diameter around 6 cm, straight uniform width stipe.
Based on microscopic features: warted limoniforme spores, 7-8 × 5-5.5 microns
