My timestamp for the photos says they were about an hour and a half apart. It was probably at quite a distance from the first observation, although the elevation and general flora were pretty consistent throughout the park.

just read your comment. if these were significantly separate from one another in time and distance, they merit their own observation. i see they were photographed on the same day at the same general location, and I can confirm them to be the same thing, so I wouldn’t mind if they were combined. if we’re talking opposite edges of the park, drastically different flora, elevation, etc., then let’s keep them apart. up to you.
