On fallen Douglas fir(cut stump). Flexible, thinner than F.pinicola-also very wavy margins. I have seen this species grow up to three feet wide(per conk) in the Olympic peninsula on many old growth conifers. Deep red zone on leading edge when young.
Temp: mid 50’s.
