Notes: Similar to previous find : Boletus L. (202593) This specimen was not partially enveloped in the Eucalyptus Semi rain forest bank as the previous specimen (202593). This current find area also had a more mature specimen directly beneath this fungi but it was in a total state of maggot infestation. This new specimen loaded, did have a small amount of infestation (maggot) in the pores area.

sect. Luridi in the broad sense, Ian. That would be the red-pored ones. Obs 202593 would go here as well.
Since early 2014, several new genera have been proposed in electronic format via Index Fungorum and in traditional hardcopy journal format. Suillelus is one that has been revived based on Boletus luridus. Your recent Obs of the red-pored entities might belong there.
