I will not stop down voting non-supported IDs in difficult groups that no one is willing to address. If you can explain what makes this ID correct I will happily remove my own vote, I will not take to others removing my vote for me.

Stop downvoting the correct species proposal for no reason, its rude, its unprofessional and it only goes to ruin your own credibility.

Appears to have been deposited by a fungal pathology researcher.

Can someone please explain how this was identified? Who identified it? What are the important characteristics. This is an apparently very difficult group and without more details it does not seem very responsible to let the web crawlers use this name. If the ID is good it should be no issue to explain it for the rest of us. :)

Is this

from the Coop buy? ATCC #26275? If so I would expect it to be reasonably identified.

That is not very convincing.

If you can’t support this name maybe we should go back to the family?

This id is a bit hard to swallow without any context.
