I revisited the site and found out,

that the white ‘carpophora’ are white powder without any structure. Similar materials are found near by (see photos). So I think we are up to a ludus naturae and Insecta is the appropiate term for this observation.

All of the images look to be of the same phenomenon but Fungi I’m not so sure.
It looks like a waste product of some type of wood boring insect, beetle or larvae.

I do not believe the first photo shows Xylaria, as that species does not form knots that I know of. The other photos look consistent with Xylaria, however.
