Found on mossy bank (first photo) and on boulder (second photo) in open coastal forest.
This one is characterized by deep brown, shiny, conspicuously wrinkly surface; all-black apothecia; white medulla, but pseudocyphellae on lower surface golden; covered with dark brown tomentum below.
I couldn’t collect either since they were in a preserve.
