Nice find, this is the first time I’ve heard of edulis being found in Vic, how many were spotted? Was this in a logging plantation or just along some pines growing randomly in the area?

We have quite a few plantations here in Vic but unfortunately due to logging the ground gets disturbed quite heavily with their machinery.

Any idea what sort of pine they were growing under?
