Guess this Amanita species will continue to be unnamed. Has been found repeatedly in this park and you probably have specimens of it from Patrick Harvey. I REALLY enjoyed finding these that day. The color was spectacular, and I would swear the color had been enhanced in the photos. I know better since these are my photos. Hope someday I will find something similar which does have the patches you referred to. I did not know that fact. Thanks again!
