Fruiting abundantly in moss – along the roadsides and trails.

Caps: reddish orange to yellow in single clusters.

Tight, Skirt like vulva at base(similar to A.pantherina).

Cap patches adhere distinctly to older specimens- younger patches falling from buttons. Coloration and cap characteristics distinguish this species from A.gemmatta.

Elevation: 1600ft.

Temp: low 60’s.
