When: 2015-04-24

Collection location: Packwood, Washington, USA [Click for map]

Who: Drew Henderson (Hendre17)

No specimen available

Notes:
Consuming small sticks, twigs and debris at the forest floor of this Spring canopy. This species can look similar to Fuligo septica (dog vomit slime) but with a grey/white color and a wet oatmeal consistency(at least when young). Easy to remember the latin “crustacea” because of the crusty oatmeal texture.

Elevation: 1600ft.

Temp: low 60’s.
