It is definitely a different species and I am going to assume that the red latex is from another source.
The substrate could not be walnut since there are none around.
I think I see some red latex on the lower stipe! Do you know the substrate? It looks a bit like what we would call Mycena crocea, which grows exclusively on the hulls of black walnut. It does not bleed.
