Observation 204581: Stropharia coronilla (Bull.) Quél.

Notes:
Cap – light brown, lighter at edges. Largest, 1.25 inches across. Flesh at center about 3/16 thick, slightly granular, some staining brown from cap.

Gills – Darkening with age. Younger caps have lavender-gray. Mature cap gills – deep brown. Close, attached, Adnate, Slightly notched, flat, slightly depressed.

Stem – with complete rings, fibrous, pliable, 1 cm thick, hollow at middle. Rooted at Base. 1.25 – 1.5 inch long.

Habitate – Growing in grasses

Smell – mild mushroom. Did not taste.

Spore Print – Dark purple-brown.
