Notes: Naturals were either rotten here or chewed up by elk recently… Areas of Ramaria rasilispora ten feet away were completely chomped too. Found a few bits throughout the canopy here.
Pits, pinkish/purple hue and non burned habitat all representative of M.snyderi. Thought old(not so pretty) specimens might be useful for ID in the morel database.
Beneath a mixed forest connection at the edge of a small stream(Douglas fir, Ponderosa pine, Willow, vine maple and cottonwood).
Temp: low 70’s.
