Discina perlata, Helvellaceae, Pezizales (Pig’s Ears, Дисцина щитовидная)

Stalkless yellow-brown ear-shaped fragile mushroom

Cup: 5-10cm wide ear-shaped with smooth surface, wrinkled and fragile; upper surface yellow-brown or brownish-yellow, minor light reddish-brown, lower (bottom) surface brownish-white or yellowish-white. Flesh is whitish and brittle.
Stalk: stalk is absent or it is stalk-like cup bottom curve.
It grows on soil with pine-tree needle minor in moose under pine-trees (pine-tree forest with rare birches). It is often nearby False Morel and other Morel.
Edibility: published that edible after short boiling.
Season: May-June

Did you check the micro-characters? If not, it’s impossible to determine a Gyromitra (Discina) species only macroscopically.
