Growing on the ground near mixed conifers @ ~ 3800 ft.
Caps up to 6.3 cm across.
Spores ~ 6.9-8.2 X 5.3-6.3 microns. broadly ellipsoid(Qavg = 1.25), and moderately rough.
I dried them before I could check for KOH or UV reactions. However, the stems and gills of the dried specimens did fluoresce yellow with UV light.
