Notes: Location: Skofield Park
Habitat: Coast live oak (Quercus agrifolia) woodland. Small dead branchlets.

Notes: Large grey-green thallus, ascending lobes with wavy margins and no cilia. Upper cortex K+Y, C-. Lower side of thallus is dark charcoal black in center grading to dark brown and finally pure white distally. Medulla white, K-, C+R quick and bright. Soredia in fine thin lines on mature lobe margins.

Associates: Teloschistes chrysophthalmus (observation 204939), Physcia adscendens and many others.
