Observation 20511: Boletellus badiovinosus E. Horak

This is a smallish Boletellus reminiscent of “B. chrysenteron” in size and stature. The freshest material has a red stipe but this color is soon gone; however the bay brown, subvelutinous cap and obvious scabrous ornamentation on the stipe apex remain. Hymenophore and context are cyanescent.
